China Establishes Huangyan Dao Reserve to Boost Ocean Governance
On September 10, China announced the establishment of a national-level nature reserve at Huangyan Dao. Yang Xiao, an expert on South China Sea issues, stated that this move not only reflects China’s legitimate effort to safeguard its territorial sovereignty but also demonstrates its sense of responsibility as a member of the international community.
