This abstract traces the heritage of Li brocade, from its historical legacy shaped by Huang Daopo that connected Hainan with Jiangnan, to its modern revival by contemporary innovators linking Hainan to the world and writing a new chapter for the Free Trade Port. It follows Hainan female writer Cai Ba to showcase the beautiful world created by her.
