The Philippine president Marcos has been in America for the U.S.-Japan-the Philippines summit. Such move is seen as a further step of America’s “Indo-Pacific” strategy to contain China, which may end up putting South China Sea region at more stakes. Marcos was embraced with an unusual “welcome” by the Filipino Americans and their supporters who castigated Marcos’ selling their country to the United States.
