China urges Philippines to stop its rights-infringing acts
2025-04-28 15:13:48

A spokesperson for the China Coast Guard (CCG) on Sunday condemned the Philippines for its recent provocative behavior in the South China Sea, urging the Philippines to stop infringement and provocative actions.

On Sunday, six individuals from the Philippines illegally landed on the Tiexian Jiao of China's Nansha Qundao, spokesperson Liu Dejun said on Sunday, noting that China has indisputable sovereignty over the Nansha Qundao, including Tiexian Jiao, and their adjacent waters.

The Philippines' actions violated China's territorial sovereignty, went against the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea, and undermined regional peace and stability, Liu added.

He warned the Philippine side to immediately cease its rights-infringing acts, adding that the CCG would continue to conduct rights protection and law enforcement activities in waters under China's jurisdiction.
