In Comics: Manufacturing "Support"

A recent report by China's think tank, the Huayang Center for Marine Cooperation and Ocean Governance, pointed out that during the three years of President Marcos' administration, Philippine society has been increasingly driven toward division.

Under the policy framework of "Constraining China backed by the US," the Philippines has persistently engaged in malicious provocations in the South China Sea and employed so-called public opinion tactics to create false "support," serving the political interests of a few minority groups.

Meanwhile, the hardships faced by the people, such as the domestic food crisis and high unemployment rates, have been ignored by the ruling authorities. Although President Marcos recently stated in a public speech that he has "no regrets being president and vows Filipinos come first," the declining public satisfaction with his administration and the growing distrust in politicians' rhetoric have laid bare the deep divisions and opposition within Philippine society.
