On September 10, China’s State Council approved the establishment of the Huangyan Dao National Nature Reserve.

Back in June, Chinese scientist Yang Hongqiang from the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, CAS, completed a major underwater scientific expedition — including Huangyan Dao.
