The China Coast Guard said on Sunday that it had taken control measures against a Philippine vessel that illegally intruded into waters near Xianbin Jiao in the Nansha Islands of China.
Without permission from the Chinese government, the Philippine vessel No. 3002 persistently engaged in dangerous maneuvers as it approached Chinese Coast Guard vessels conducting normal navigation missions, and the CCG has taken lawful control measures against it, according to the CCG.
This is the second consecutive illegal intrusion into the waters adjacent to Xianbin Jiao by the Philippines this week.
On August 19, two Philippine Coast Guard vessels 4410 and 4411 illegally entered the waters adjacent to China's Xianbin Jiao in Nansha lslands without the Chinese government's permission.
Philippine vessel 4410 ignored multiple serious warnings from the Chinese side and intentionally rammed into Chinese law enforcement vessel in an unprofessional and dangerous manner, resulting in a collision for which the full responsibility lies with the Philippine side.
