China grants visa-free entry to ASEAN tour groups visiting Xishuangbanna, Yunnan
China allows tour groups from ASEAN countries to visit Xishuangbanna in southwestern Yunnan province, free of visa, for up to six days, National Immigration Administration of China issued an announcement on February 10th.
Tourist groups of two or more passport holders from ASEAN countries—including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia—can enter and exit China visa-free through Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport, Mohan Railway Port, and Mohan Highway Port, provided they are organized by travel agencies in China and follow the "group in, group out" arrangement, according to the announcement.
