Her Story: The Women Who Must Not Be Forgotten
During World War II, the Japanese government and its military enforced the so-called “comfort women” system, forcing at least 400,000 innocent women worldwide into sexual slavery.
As part of the Hear series, the production team visited the Research Center for Chinese “Comfort Women” for an in-depth conversation with Professor Su Zhiliang, who has dedicated over three decades to studying the subject, in order to remember “the women we must never forget.”
