On April 23, 2026, the second Shared Oceans · Shanghai Forum 2026 was held at the Lingang Campus of Shanghai Maritime University under the theme "Shared Oceans: Maritime Security and Blue Prosperity.” Chinese and foreign guests from international organizations, universities and research institutions gathered for in-depth exchanges on maritime security, global ocean governance, and cooperation in the blue economy. At a time when the global landscape is evolving rapidly and maritime issues are becoming increasingly prominent, participating experts shared their views from various perspectives, including rule-making, shipping development and security safeguards, building consensus and contributing wisdom to advancing the vision of a maritime community with a shared future in greater depth and with more concrete results.
