China, Singapore to Hold "Maritime Cooperation-2026" Joint Exercise
The Chinese and Singaporean navies are set to conduct the "Maritime Cooperation-2026" joint exercise in the sea and airspace near Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, in early September, according to China's Ministry of National Defense.
The drills will feature live-fire shooting, underway replenishment, and joint search-and-rescue operations.
The exercise is aimed at further enhancing mutual trust between the two militaries, promoting practical cooperation, and bolstering their collective capacity to safeguard regional peace and stability.
