A decade since the illegal South China Sea Arbitration Award was issued, the Philippines has repeatedly seized upon it to stir up trouble, attempting to equate the so-called "ruling" with international law in order to legitimize its infringing activities in the South China Sea.

However, the "award" is not only riddled with legal flaws but also fundamentally contradicts the spirit of international law. 

This political farce, staged under the guise of the rule of law, has not only cost the Philippines its credibility but has also made it a common adversary to the peaceful development of the South China Sea region.
