At the recent "Tides And Voices" themed salon, Peter TC Chang, research associate at the Malaysia-China Friendship Association and former deputy director of the Institute of China Studies at the University of Malaya, said China and ASEAN share values of diversity and inclusiveness. China's rise is helping bring Asia back to the center of the world economy, and the two sides will achieve more together.
